Job opening: Digital Marketer

We are looking for a conceptual thinker to translate sales and marketing strategic objectives into digital strategies. Top candidates will have proven ability to create and execute broad creative vision demonstrated through a diverse digital portfolio that includes use of AI in our customer interaction, optimization of websites, online advertising, permission marketing, social media, and design. 

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and execute strategies for using Artificial Intelligence (AI) in customer interaction
  • Review new technologies and keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing
  • Devising strategies to drive online traffic to the company website, exploring a range of techniques including paid search, SEO and PPC
  • Tracking conversion rates and improving the usability, design, content and conversion of the company website
  • Help craft compelling and informative search engine optimised copy and content marketing vehicles (newsletters, articles and social media posts)
  • Administration of the website including design, image/asset uploads, and regular content updates
  • Developing and managing digital marketing campaigns
  • Produce permission marketing automation plans, collateral and newsletters, and distribute to both internal and external customers
  • Establish and maintain intranet pages with content that is well organized, user friendly, and presents a consistent corporate look and feel
  • Management of social media accounts including producing imagery, posting, and communicating with community members, particularly LinkedIn
  • Provide reports from Google Analytics, web traffic, permission marketing and social media - analyzing metrics and identifying trends
  • Design of posters, brochures, flyers, adverts, presentations, stand design etc. using Adobe design suite and aligned with corporate brand guidelines
  • Performs other duties as requested by supervisor

Education & Experience

  • 3+ years’ experience in digital marketing
  • Experience with web design, development, and optimization best practices
  • Analytics and quantitative experience, using data to develop and measure across web and owned channels
  • Knowledge and experience of WordPress and other content management systems
  • Experience collaborating with a variety of internal and external stakeholders on content production
  • Graphic Design expertise across a variety of content types and software design programs, proficient with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator

Specialized knowledge, skills & abilities

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills – Norwegian and English
  • Good knowledge of the main AI techniques, and in-depth understanding of how to apply these in customer interaction in a B2B context
  • Ability to write HTML, develop content, create graphics, digitize content, and edit/insert audio and visual media into web based platforms
  • In-depth knowledge of Google Analytics
  • Ability to create compelling copy and professional website pages
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills –  ability to manage multiple projects / tasks at one time and juggle long-range projects with more immediate needs
  • Flexible – able to respond quickly and effectively to changes in the marketplace, internal strategy, and business requirements
  • Autonomous – has the capacity to work independently, plan effectively, and generally understand and “own” the job
  • Ability to show initiative and to accomplish job duties on time
  • Excellent analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem solving skills
  • Strong Internet research/content sourcing skills
  • Photography skills a plus
  • Animation (video and gif) skills a plus
